Who are we?
Started in December 2015, Create A Tee is a company of dreamers who want to revolutionise the t-shirt industry in the region. To us, a t-shirt is not just yarns of thread; it is a medium of self expression, a way of communicating your identity, to others a livelihood. With a simple shirt, one can start a movement, build awareness, rally a community, and support a friend in need, it becomes more than a shirt. It becomes a medium for making a difference, for igniting passion in others, and for being a better person. Create A Tee is a building block off of that feeling.
What do we do?
We offer an online platform for clients to custom design and order and sell personalized apparel such as t-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, aprons and more. We are the go-to-place for anyone looking to realize their creative ideas on quality fabrics. Whether for sale or personal use Create A Tee enables you decorate your tee with your own designs or choose from our existing collection. You can further personalize by adding your own text. Whatever choice you make we support you in coming up with apparel as unique as you, to show the world who you are. What we strive for is to translate your dream designs into reality.

Direct-On-Garment Printing (DTG) is the latest textile decoration technology. We have our very own DTG print facility and take great pride in premiering this technology in Kenya. DTG offers customers the best service with no minimums, or setup fee restrictions, and a fast turnaround. With this printing technology the custom t-shirts retain their soft feel, they do not have that plastic feel that some printing processes can leave. It ensures that your custom designed garments are produced efficiently both in terms of time and money.
As a trendsetter in the garment decoration industry, Create A Tee adopts the most stringent standards for protecting human health and protecting the environment.
We only source our blank garments from suppliers who conform to certain world known standards as regarding employee working conditions, quality and traceability of products, strict respect of the Geneva convention and respect for the environment. The water-based inks we print with are heavy metal free and meet the international standard for the industry.
All our garments are made of ring-spun cotton. Compared to the regular cotton, ringspun fabric is popular because of its softer texture. Because it lasts longer it is also appropriate for leisure clothing. Apparel made of ring-span is easier to care for , always keeps its shape and delivers a pleasantly comfortable wear.
