Harambees have been a part of Kenya’s culture for decades. But with everyone having one need or another, we are being challenged to get creative, even with our harambee skills. Calling all your friends and grouping them in a little room to raise funds could work, but not as effectively as you’d like, especially if you have large scale goals.

If you do then contact us so that we can help you create an online store free of charge, to make it easy for your supporters to browse all your custom apparel. It only takes a few minutes for your supporters to choose their preferred design, change the color, resize the design and they’re ready to check out. We at Create A Tee will then process the order, create the merchandise and you’ll be good to go. We will inform you to pick up the merchandise or ship it directly to the buyer.

As a rape survivor, Kenyan media personality Adelle Onyango teamed up with Carolina for Kibera to create Safe 24/7 – a FREE group therapy program, facilitated by trained professionals, that survivors of rape will attend once a week, for 10 weeks. She decided to use custom-made merchandise to fundraise.
